Meet Zhayra

Zhayra has always held a deep fondness for dragons—mystical beings she admires for their mystery, enchantment, and magical powers. Her vision was to reignite the wonder and magic they symbolize, bringing that energy into the lives of others.

Inspired by the rainbows of Maui and the dream of opening a crystal shop, the name Rainbow Dragon was born. Rainbows remind us of joy, beauty, and hope—no matter our age, they always warm the heart and bring a smile.

The store opened its doors on April 11, 2024, just eight months after the Lahaina fires, as a beacon of healing and renewal. Zhayra created Rainbow Dragon not only as a place to shop, but as a gathering space—a sanctuary where community can come together to “talk story,” share wisdom, and participate in meditation, spiritual practices, and emotional wellness classes. At its heart, Rainbow Dragon is a space of connection, healing, and heart-centered community.

Inside, visitors will find unique creations by local artists, alongside crystals, sage, resins, oracle decks, and healing services such as reiki, sound healing, readings, and more.

An artist herself, Zhayra loves uplifting and supporting other artists. She is also a Reiki Master, sound healer, spiritual mentor, modern-day shaman, and entrepreneur. What she treasures most is engaging in conversations with guests about dragons—their magic, their mystery, and the timeless wisdom they carry.
